Our primary goal is to share our love of the Cane Corso breed. We are thoroughly committed to placing our dogs in homes where their new families appreciate how much care has gone into their puppy. We believe every one of our dogs to be special, and therefore look for responsible owners who will deliver the quality care and affection that they deserve.
In the many years of owning and training large breed dogs, we have dedicated our lives to the rarebreed Cane Corso. Because of their undisputed strength and agility, we have found the Cane Corso to be the best dog for security and protection. Because of their temperament, loyalty to their family, and the overall beauty of the breed, we have found the Cane Corso also to be an excellent pet.
Welcome to SirGard Cane Corsos & Rottweilers website, we hope you enjoy your stay. SirGard is situated on approximately three acres of land located thirty minutes east of Philadelphia, PA in what is commonly referred to a “South Jersey”. SirGard is a small hobby Cane Corso breeder & Rottweiler breeder serving New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York.
The initial infatuation with this breed was flamed into a full blown love affair by the intelligence, eagerness to please, and the protective nature of these wonderful dogs. It was only natural to progress from enjoying wonderful family companions to competing in the conformation show ring, and then other AKC working events such a lure coursing, barn hunt, and most recently scentwork.
In Gladiator’s Quest Cane Corso we will try to strive and produce the best dogs with a nice temperament to be a good guard dogs and a good family companions. Our puppies are raised around children and other pets for proper socialization and smoother integration. I don’t breed dogs to make a living, I have my own job. I’m just a family man who wants to protect his family, property, and share with others what this breed has done for me.
Each litter is carefully planned, breeding for correct type, temperament, health, and workability, using the finest Cane Corso bloodlines available. Our dogs will be in good health and health tested, before they are bred. All of our Corsi live inside our home, and are a part of our family, attending family activities as well as everyday errands.

Bellissima Cane Corsos was started in 2003. I only breed one or two litters a year. I want to make sure that my puppies are raised correctly and with as much socialization and attention they need. I strive to produce healthy, great temperament and great type.

Having experienced many breeds and knowing their strengths and weaknesses, we fell in love with the Cane Corso in 2008. We wanted a dog that possesses athleticism, intelligence, drive, loyalty, all the while being a great family addition. We are dedicated to preserving what a cane corso is intended to be. With breeding consistency in temperament, intelligence, athleticism, and health, it is reflected in our pups. We go to great lengths to preserve and strengthen the cane corso in the United States.
My wife Melissa and I are the breeders. I got the name from my initials but it also works as Chad and Melissa Briggs. We are hobby breeders. Melissa works as an RN in the ICU of a large hospital. I work for a large web development company in the search engine marketing and web design sales department. Our long term plan with the dogs is to continue breeding the Cane Corsos and eventually start breeding the French Bulldogs.
All our Cane Corso live inside the house with us. All puppies are raised inside and are heavily socialized and desensitized to sounds, people, places and objects preparing each puppy to be good ambassadors of the breed.
