We aim to extend these traits to others who want to experience this exceptional breed of canine. These dogs are very lovable yet un-trusting of strangers. We make sure when we breed, our dogs are guaranteed to have the confidence and drive to work!
We have been involved in the breed since 2012. We are located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania where we reside on a 12 acre private estate where all our dogs live in our home and are part of our family. All our dogs come from Stable and Healthy lines with excellent temperaments the three most important characteristics we strive for. We take pride in our dogs and we put the time into them when it comes to showing, working, training and proving them. As this is top priority to us as we will only breed a proven stable well balanced healthy dog.
We strive to breed dogs of superior type with stable temperaments. We are breeders of the rare Italian Mastiff known as the Cane Corso. We are extremely selective about which dogs we allow in our breeding program, and host some of the top Italian lines in the world today. Each litter of puppies is carefully planned to improve the breed here in America as well as around the World. We breed only hip tested, healthy dogs.
Our breeding program searches out dogs for a unique purpose; for the ability to perform in the show ring and also for their courage and willingness to work. Our kennel selectively breeds litters for the purpose of producing outstanding working and show quality Cane Corso puppies.
Here at Shipley Cane Corso we love the Cane Corso Italian Mastiff! And it’s this love that has motivated us to breed this fine dog! When buying our first Cane Corso we weren’t even thinking about breeding and we don’t do this for a living, we were like 99% of people, we wanted a great house dog, with a great temperament, good around friends, family, kids, and one that could still protect if ever needed.
I, Bonnie Spiece, have been involved with the breed since 2004.I breed occasionally only to improve my lines and produce my next prospects. All of my dogs are rotated in and out of the house; I also have a few outdoor kennel runs so that some of the dogs can be outside on nice days getting some exercise and fresh air.My puppies are raised with lots of love and attention; they each get individual time to build their confidence.I work hard to insure my puppies go to the very best homes possible, as they are not a breed for everyone.
The initial infatuation with this breed was flamed into a full blown love affair by the intelligence, eagerness to please, and the protective nature of these wonderful dogs. It was only natural to progress from enjoying wonderful family companions to competing in the conformation show ring, and then other AKC working events such a lure coursing, barn hunt, and most recently scentwork.
We are a very small rural breeder who cares about producing quality health tested Cane Corsos while doing our best to follow breed standards. We breed only when wanting to add to our family. Our Corsos are raised as cherished members of our family. We want to ensure that each of our puppy’s are provided with a good, loving, and stable home.
The journey for EPIC began well over a decade ago when Heather Vitcusky and John King purchased their first Cane Corso.Heather is a strong believer in putting only her best examples in the conformation show ring. She strives to produce consistent, balanced, sound examples with exceptional breed type, structure and TEMPERAMENTS.
At Corso Couture, we strive to breed nothing but the finest, world class Cane Corso. What does it mean to breed a world class Cane Corso? To produce such a dog means taking special care to ensure everything from proper temperament to specific breed standards such as size, shape, and special markings. Our kennel purposefully plans only a few litters per year. We do this to ensure that our pups have all the attention and care needed in the first months of their lives so they have the best chance at a healthy, happy future.

Our kennel name, “Bella Conbrio” traces its origin back to Italy, as does this amazing breed – the Cane Corso Italiano. The word Bella translates to “beautiful”, while Conbrio is a musical term for “spirited”.
Beautiful and Spirited! What better description for these incredible dogs?
At Capri Cane Corso we have two simple goals. Breed betterment by selective breeding. Breed preservation based on the history and current direction from the breeds country of origin Italy. We breed to the Italian kennel club standard. We select for correct type, health, temperament and drive. We hold all this criteria equally important in planning a litter with the final goal of producing a better example of the breed with each breeding.
We live in South Alabama on 260+ acres with plenty of room for our babies to run & play. We all have had love for dogs all of our life. We have also bred Great Danes for approx. 11 years before getting our first Cane Corso. I never thought I would find a breed that I would love as much as the Great Dane but after getting Roxy our hearts surely understood it was big enough to accept another great breed.
We are a small family breeder, located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in California. We have been raising dogs for over thirty years, but just found our way into the Cane Corso world about five years ago. These beautiful, loyal creatures have become a fixture in our family. We prefer the antique style of conformation, emphasizing muscular size, large bone, fluid movement, and a protective yet calm temperament.
Having experienced many breeds and knowing their strengths and weaknesses, we fell in love with the Cane Corso in 2008. We wanted a dog that possesses athleticism, intelligence, drive, loyalty, all the while being a great family addition. We are dedicated to preserving what a cane corso is intended to be. With breeding consistency in temperament, intelligence, athleticism, and health, it is reflected in our pups. We go to great lengths to preserve and strengthen the cane corso in the United States.
